Hopwood Park Services on the M42
Hopwood Park is the only services at the south-western end of the M42, at Junction 2 near Bromsgrove, reached from the A441 towards Redditch. It is the last stop for about 26 miles if you are heading north.

Food, shops and facilities
Food outlets include Burger King, Chopstix Noodle Bar, KFC, Starbucks and Subway. For shopping there is a Little Waitrose and WHSmith. Facilities listed include a Changing Places toilet, showers, a games area and a children’s play area. There is also a fuel forecourt. Outlets change from time to time, so check with Welcome Break if you are relying on one.

Worth knowing
Hopwood Park was the first service area in the country to include its own wildlife reserve, and it has one of the UK’s first integrated sustainable drainage schemes. Construction started in December 1998 and cost £40 million. The amenity building has two public floors.

The nearest services either side
Heading north-east on the M42, the next stop is Tamworth at Junction 10, about 26 miles away. There is nothing in between, including on the stretch past the NEC and Birmingham Airport.
