Tamworth Services on the M42

Tamworth services is at Junction 10 of the M42, where the motorway meets the A5 for Tamworth and Nuneaton. For drivers coming north from the M40, the NEC or the M6, it is the first place to stop on the M42.

Food includes Burger King, Costa Coffee, Greggs, KFC, Pret A Manger and Krispy Kreme, with M&S Food and WHSmith for shopping. Parking is free for the first two hours, with charges after that for cars and for lorries, caravans and motorhomes. Outlets and charges change, so check with Moto if you are relying on something.

The border between Staffordshire and Warwickshire runs through the middle of Tamworth services. Behind the hotel there is a large grass area with public footpaths.
